The gunman who killed nine people and injured 27 in Munich lured his victims to a McDonald's after hacking a Facebook account and posting a message offering free fast food.
The pre-prepared post was sent from a young woman's account just hours before the mayhem broke out.
The sick message, urging people to turn up at 4pm, read: "Come today to the Maccy's at 16 o'clock at OEZI. I'll give you something if you want, but not too expensive."
Police confirmed the gunman had sent the message at a press conference today.
Munich police investigator Robert Heimberger said the woman, who was not named, had reported her account being hacked.
