General T.Y Danjuma Accused Of Owing Staff Salaries Of 19 Months

One of Africa's richest men, a retired soldier, a politician and multi-millionaire businessman and philanthropist, T.Y Danjuma, is currently facing allegations of wage theft, following failure of one of his companies, GALBA Ltd to pay it's workers 19 months wages of hard work.

According to the workers, T.Y Danjuma began owing them from 2015 till date, a situation that has led to their Children dropping out of schools, overdue rent, death of about five (5) of it's workers, and many unfortunate events.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Labour Congress, (NLC) Trade Union Congress (TUC) and United Action for Democracy (UAD) have picketed Galba Nigerian Plc., for its failure to pay its workers.
The protest which was organised in Port Harcourt by staff members of Automobile, Boatyards, Transport Equipment and Allied Senior Staff Association, was to press down the demand for the payment of the salaries of the workers.
