And now Jake Gyllenhaal has admitted that he had a crush on Jennifer Aniston 'for years.'
The Southpaw star, 35, worked alongside the 47-year-old actress in 2002's The Good Girl and admits it was 'lovely' to finally come face to face with his childhood crush.
Speaking to People magazine, he said: 'I will say, I had a crush on her for years. And working with her was not easy. I was - um, yeah.
'That's all I'm going to say. It was lovely. It wasn't hard, that's what I would say.'
He explained: 'I feel I've returned to the emotional place I was in when I was acting as a kid.'
'At one point in my career, several years back, I got away from that innocent kind of inspiration and what makes acting truly beautiful, not just a job,' Jake noted.
'I am enjoying a much more interesting life and connecting to my sister and other friends has been an important change for me. It just feels that I'm on the right track again on so many levels.'
