They were rounded up when their vehicle broke down and they were waiting for assistance from their associates, who reside at a nearby site at Kajola village in Odigbo area of the state.

Vanguard gathered that the sisters were released a week after abduction.

Although the kidnappers had demanded for a ransom of N20 million, the Catholic Church reportedly coughed out N2.5 million to secure the release of the sisters.

The Catholic Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Most Rev Jude Arogundade, confirmed that the kidnappers had requested for N20 million ransom during the negotiation. Isiga, 25-year-old from Delta State, said he was introduced to the business by one Ufoma, who was also arrested.
