He's spent the last few months being coddled by estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, with the star taking care of him following his recent brush with death.
And on this week's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Lamar Odom was thinking about making it official again, as he talked about wanting to remarry the 31-year-old.
When Khloe said he would be 'lucky' if they remarried, the 36-year-old former athlete answered: 'I'll say my prayers.' Also in the room were Kris Jenner and Melanie Griffith (who famously married Don Johnson twice).
Khloe, meanwhile, insisted that the two finally finalize their divorce before trying to start up anything once again.
'We're definitely getting out of this marriage because it's been a little tainted. We need to cut our ties and we can figure it back out,' she had said.
The episode showed Khloe fussing over Lamar as they attended Kanye West's fashion show in Madison Square Garden together.
Despite Lamar's reassurance, Khloe was 'very overwhelmed' about bringing him following his time in the hospital and insisted they could leave the show if he needed to.
However, that wasn't necessary, and Lamar later had a chance to chat with Kourtney in the car as they left.
The two had a heart-to-heart as the mother-of-three told him that she believed people's prayers had saved his life.
She her sister's estranged husband: 'Do you have a new outlook on life?' to which he answered that he did.
Khloe has previously talked about getting back together with Lamar, saying during an episode of her (now-cancelled) chat show Kocktails With Khloe that remarrying him 'would be like the best dream.'
But she also added: 'OK, I hope that first marriage could happen again but it's really hard to erase everything that happened.'
'Just building a friendship back is what I'm doing now, it has nothing intimately, nothing at all, just pure love and I want someone to learn how to love themselves again.'
Lamar has been frequently spotted with Khloe and her family, such as at Kanye's Yeezy show in February, a special memorial dinner for her late father Robert Kardashian that same month, and for Easter celebrations in March.
Khloe and Lamar had a whirlwind romance, tying the knot in September 2009 exactly one month after they met.
The 31-year-old then filed for divorce in December 2013 amid rumors Lamar had been abusing drugs and after he admitted to infidelity.
The couple's divorce was soon-to-be finalized when Lamar suffered his overdose, and Khloe had the proceedings stopped in order to make medical decisions on his behalf as his wife.
