A family man punched a lone woman in the face for driving too slowly in a shocking road rage incident witnessed by his wife and children.
The thug was driving behind the woman before he started beeping his horn at her when the lights turned green.
He followed her along Dale Street in Radcliffe, Bury, before getting out of his car at next set of lights and punching her in the face, the Manchester Evening News reported .
Police say the man, who was around six foot tall, abandoned his wife and children in his car before attacking the woman.
It is understood the female driver managed to note down the hooligan’s number plate after she was punched.
She is not thought to have suffered serious injury.
Officers are due to pay him a visit following the incident at around 3pm on Monday.
The woman, who lives in Ramsbottom, is believed to have been travelling alone when she was assaulted.
