Muhammad Ali’s daughter Hana shares a touching image of Prince with her dad on Twitter(photos)

Muhammad Ali ‘s daughter Hana has shared a photo of her dad with Prince during a touching moment at their home.

The 74-year-old boxing legend , who died on Friday, had a close friendship with the late Purple Rain singer, who also died this year, and his daughter has posted a snap of them together on Twitter.


She wrote: “Prince doing his version of Daddys levitating magic trick act!

The pint-sized singer can be seen in the snap standing on a piece of furniture with his arms stretched out as the boxer laughs.

She also features in the snap sat in a living room chair, looking up at her father as they enjoy a moment together.

Muhammad Ali also paid tribute to singer Prince on Twitter following his shock death in April, just six weeks before he passed away himself.

He called him a a “genius” in his message posted to his official social media account on April 22 alongside a picture of the two icons together.

The star wrote: “We’ve lost a true original. @Prince was someone who cared for others & used his genius to help many.”

Just weeks later and the world has lost another “true original”.


Despite struggling with his health, the three-time world heavyweight maintained a connection with his fans on Twitter.

His account featured images from throughout his extraordinary life as well as some of his most inspirational quotes, with tweets sent from the great man himself identified by the “#AliTweet”.

Muhammed Ali died late on Friday after being admitted to hospital in Arizona on Thursday.

He had been suffering from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson’s disease.
