Rapper, Tobechukwu Melvin Ejiofor known as Illbliss announces his retirement from music, as he left fans in a perplexed state.
The rapper took to his page to share with fans saying “thank you all for being with me through this amazing musical journey….goodbye…to the game..i’m gone…next chapter” he wrote
Fans seeing the rapper’s post were confused as to why he made such hasty decision, weeks after the announcement of his new album.
Most of the fans pleaded with the rapper after making such hasty decision, citing that his exit might mean an end to rap game in Nigeria.
Illbliss who recently gave a sneak peek on how his fourth studio album will look like, said the album is going to come with ‘mad jams’ citing that the its going to be a digital one, not to be found on the street.
The rapper already has three albums, a businessman and owner of the talent managing outfit known as ‘The Goretti Company’, responsible for launching the careers of Chidinma and Phyno, among others.
Also popularly known as Oga Boss, he has received many nominations and won awards, the most notable being the award for Best Hip-hop Video at the 2008 maiden edition of the Soundcity Music Video Awards.
