Emmanuel Amuneke, the coach for Flying Eagles, said the ‘god of soccer’ was not on his team’s side, after they were beaten 4-3 by Sudan’s in a showdown in Lagos for a qualifier match on Saturday.
Amuneke added that his boys, who had won the first leg 2-1, did not take advantage of the chances they had .

“We are all disappointed,” Amuneke lamented! “The truth of the matter is that we were not able to qualify for the U-20 AFCON in Zambia.

“Everybody is disappointed, players are disappointed, personally I’m disappointed because a lot of fans came today to see the team but unfortunately, the team was not in a position to make them happy.

We all are sad but life has to move on, this is football,you win some and loose some
