The medical practitioner, Dr Thomas Adekoya-Cole who clocked 60 years this year February, was said to have been murdered in cold blood by some suspected sympathisers of a local native doctor.
PM News learnt that the native doctor was also reportedly killed by a group of area boys at Ijebu Ode on the night of Saturday, May 28 during a ceremony as a possible sort of retaliation. Information has it that men of the police force have apprehended the suspected murderers, in which sources claim are close to a society Adekoya-Cole belonged to, known as ‘Egbe Bobakeye Akile Ijebu.’
