Coach of Egypt national team, Hector Cuper, has said his team will be looking for a win, when they take on Nigeria in the first leg of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The Super Eagles will host the Pharoahs this weekend, before travelling to Alexandria for the return leg,
Egypt currently lead Group G with six points, while Nigeria are in second place with four points and Cuper is eyeing maximum points when they take on the Eagles at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna.
“The Ghana debacle will not be repeated, and we can beat the Nigerian national team,” the former Inter Milan manager said during his interaction with the media on Sunday in Cairo.
“So, I promise we will give everything in this match, but I cannot promise a win outright.”
