Mike-Tyson said he is still looking forward to taking more fights, including a heavyweight showdown with Anthony Joshua.
According to TalkSport When a reporter asked Mike-Tyson if he’d be interested in fighting a current day heavyweight in the name of charity, the 54-year-old was all for the idea.
“If doing that means we can have bigger charity exposure, so be it. I’m down to do that, too.
“This is all being done as an exponent of charity and if they’re down to do that, I’m with it too. Listen, it’s entertainment. It’s just charity. It’s for a good cause. But, we’re giving our best.”
When pressed further if he’d like to face WBO, WBA (super), IBO and IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, Tyson didn’t waver.
“I would love to do that, that would be mind-blowing,” Tyson affirmed.
Joshua is 31 years old and at the peak of his powers. At 6ft 6in, he towers over Tyson’s 5ft 11in frame, but to see them go at it in the ring would be a spectacle fans would eat up.
Joshua, Wilder, or Fury are the biggest draws on the list. They are the superstar of this era, having a huge impact on the sport.
Thus, a fight against them will mark an old school vs new school competition for Tyson. These matchups can break several records. However, Tyson needs to concentrate on Roy Jones Jr. for now.
