The Ondo State governor-elect Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) on Sunday delivered his acceptance speech in his Owo home after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared him the winner of the Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
The All Progressives Congress candidate, Akeredolu, polled a total number of 244, 842 votes to beat runners up, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) of the Peoples Democratic Party, who had 146,784. The Alliance for Democracy candidate, Chief Olusola Oke came third with 107,124 votes.
