The Super Eagles have now been ranked as the 29th best team in the world according to FIFA even though there was no action in the month.
The rankings was released on Thursday and published on FIFA’s official website.
The new ranking saw the Eagles now occupying third in Africa behind Senegal (20th in the world) and Tunisia (26th in the world).
Meanwhile, Belgium, France, Brazil and England all remain at number one, two, three and four respectively.
At number five is Portugal, Uruguay occupy number six, at number seven is Spain, Croatia at number eight, Argentina ninth and Colombia 10th.
The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 22 October 2020.
