Football is one thing that unites people across the globe, same as music. So it comes as no surprise that these two great tools for unity also go hand in hand to please fans. It has been gathered that songs by some Nigerian music stars have been enlisted as soundtracks for FIFA 21, a popular football video game

Nigerian star, Fireboy’s club banger, Scatter, was announced as one of the official tracks for the video game. The deal was reportedly negotiated by Empire publishing and YBNL. Scatter is a track off Fireboy DML’s Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps album. The fast-rising singer took to his Twitter page to share the good news. He posted a tweet showing that his song was part of the official soundtracks for FIFA 21. This makes Fireboy the only Nigerian-based musician to be featured on the in-game soundtrack. Another Nigerian star, Rema’s Beamer was also part of the FIFA 21 project. His song will be entertaining fans on the VOLTA or street soccer mode of the game. British-Nigerian star, Dave’s song titled Location with Grammy-nominated Nigerian star, Burna Boy was also on the street soccer mode of the game.
